Human Resources Generalist

The main purpose and scope of the job involves the s
upport of Business Units in involving the creation and adoption of local HR Programs as well as the implementation of initiatives supporting the customer acquisition process (sales);
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

HR Operations
  • Responsible for managing daily HR operations to sustain organizational capability and meet the business goals of HR in the organization. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with overseas HR teams to manage employee relations issues associated with performance, leave, business integrity, terminations, or other employee relations matters; manages the delivery of recruiting, HR, benefits and payroll service delivery.
  • Assists in identifying key drivers of employee satisfaction and supports clients in addressing issues with written plans and actions;
Sales and Administration Support
  • Works with the local regulatory bodies (e.g. NIS, labour, occupational safety, and health) to respond to claims/complaints or concerns; reviews reports for accuracy and corrects errors, and responds appropriately;
  • Attracts, hires, and motivates staff as the office grows. 
  • Assists in the management of department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals;
  • Manages the office and assists with Client visits, both offsite and onsite.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience with client relations;
  • Knowledge and experience of human resources, recruiting and payroll processing;
  • Experience supervising a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills including with persons from different geographic locations and cultural backgrounds.
  • Adept at working independently and/or remotely while providing regular reports and updates.
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Must be able to travel;
  • Human Resources designation by a recognized body i.e. SHRM, HRCI is preferred
  • Ability to be a strong influence with strong negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software e.g. Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, ATS systems, and Payroll Software, and timeclocks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or other related discipline and 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR services;
