LOGISTICS & SUPPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Job Scope:

To lead the Raw Material/Dispatch and Warehouse functions in providing timely, accurate and economical delivery of all products to both internal and external customers. Through effective communication with relevant departments ensure that records are accurate and documentation is correct at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set daily and weekly work direction of staff, and ensuring efficient work systems are maintained while exercising discretion and judgment in recommending changes to schedules.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure customer orders are delivered on time.
  • Liaise with other departments to optimize the workflow through the factory giving full consideration for space and any other restrictions.
  • To ensure proper inventory management of paper, sundries and finished goods.
  • To supervise/manage the ERP database and ensuring that stock levels are maintained by processing reorders as needed.
  • Managing the process and staff of Shipping, regarding container, break bulk and air freight shipments.
  • Daily sales analysis to review progress relative to targets, with any changes to be identified to senior management.
  • Upkeep of identified areas within the company premises.
  • Identify, record and update of Dispatch policies and procedures.
  • To complete Department’s report and submit to Division Head at the time specified.
  • Must be capable of performing all the tasks in the Department so that the efficiency of the department will not be affected due to the absence of any member of staff.        
  • Responsible for the recruitment of staff for the Department. 
  • To manage the timely Administration and reconciliation of invoices with their appropriate deliveries, job cards, loading plans and relevant payments.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications:
 
  • At least three (3) years experience at a supervisory level.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Grade 2 Customs Clerk Certificate and training in ACE (CARICOM Invoice).
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Forklift license.
  • Any relevant combination of qualifications and experience.
