- Leads the Jamaican HR teams in Montego Bay and Kingston, reporting into the US based VP of Human Resources;

Leads in the creation and implementation of progressive initiatives, including, benefits, compensation, HR training, performance management, reward systems, and employee relations that align the overall people strategies;

Provides leadership for all employee relations to assess, investigate, mediate, and correct conflict and performance issues;

Coaches, motivates, and develops internal stakeholders with buy in to company culture and mission to develop a diversified workforce of dedicated employees;

Ensures the efficient design and implementation of on-boarding and orientation of all Jamaican employees to actively engage new employees and ensure a lasting understanding and adherence to the culture, ethics, and expectations of the agency and our clients;

Collaborates on the development of internal training (leadership, culture, values) and professional development for employees. This includes any mandated training such as workplace harassment training;

Leads the staff through culture and policy change to reflect the organization’s growth and trajectory;

Creates, develops, implements, and evaluates all HR programs and supporting systems to ensure an integrated approach to all systems, practices, policies, and procedures;

Ensure compliance with all applicable Jamaican laws and regulations;

Revise and develop new policies and procedures as needed, keeping the HR manual current;

Assures consistent leadership application and adherence to standards of conduct and performance;

Consults with leadership staff in establishing strategic direction for Human Resources Function;

Manages and directs the HR department and office management staff, delegating work effectively;

Oversee all aspects of insurance/benefits brokers, providing information on enrollment and benefits;

Create policies and SOPS around HR Department workflow and processes.
