Sales Representative

Job Scope:
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling the products and services of Advanced Scales & Equipment Ltd, utilizing telemarketing, Face-to-Face Sales and service negotiation skills to meet and satisfy the needs of clients/customers. The incumbent is responsible for building a strong client portfolio across the island, contributing to the company's growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Soliciting business for the Company’s products and services island-wide via telemarketing, Face-to-Face Sales and Service contacts.
  • Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing and/or potential clients to identify their needs and study their operations and needs.
  • Create effective activities and programs geared towards promoting the brand, products, and services offered.
  • Making sales presentations to prospective clients to convert them into solid users of the company’s products and services.  Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume dealers.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas by using excellent communication and negotiating skills to close sales and build strong Customer Relationship Management by ensuring that expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, e.g., daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly business analyses.
  • Promoting the Company’s brand, adhering to its standards and reputation at all times.
  • Monitoring the competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques etc., to keep ASEL ahead at all times.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the Managing Director.
  • Submit orders to the Customer Service Department by referring to price lists and product literature, ensuring that quick action is taken and customer needs are met with the Company’s Sales and Marketing Strategy.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Managing Director.
Skills and Requirements
    • Associate Degree in Sales, Marketing, and/or Business Administration
    • Two (2) years of experience in Sales and Marketing
    • Strong Technical Selling Competence
    • Customer Sales & Service Procedures
    • Computer Literate (Excel and Word)
    • Excellent communication and presentation Skills.
    • Excellent Customer Relations and Selling Skills,
    • Excellent Negotiating skills
    • Excellent Time Management and organizational Skills
    • Ability to resolve problems using good judgment.
    • Highly self-motivated with drive to meet sales targets
    • Owns and operates a reliable motor vehicle
