Regional Head of Human Resources 
 
The Regional Head of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration evaluation and development of the Human Resource function for multiple B.P.O. sites across Jamaica.  The successful candidate will implement HR best practices and will drive objectives emphasizing employee engagement and high-performance standards. The position embodies high-level of HR strategic planning consulting and execution, and HR process development.
 


Responsibilities
  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and examining human resource issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Works closely with Business Unit owners to identifies human resource gaps and resolutions in line with broader company objectives.
  • Oversees human resource operations through recruitment, selection, orientation, and performance management.
  • Establish departmental accountability, in areas such as retention and attrition management, employee engagement, compensation strategies, HR management and information systems, compensation and benefits, safety and health, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Establishes the human resource operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources with strategy action plans; measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Ensures compliance to local and legal requirements by keeping abreast with existing and new legislation; advising management on proactive measures to ensure business consistency.

 
Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in HR or Business is preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years’ experience at the Senior Management level.
  • Experience working in the BPO industry required.
  • Sound knowledge of Jamaican labor laws.
  • This position is based in Kingston, Jamaica.
  • Experience supporting a large delivery organization.
