Job Scope
The Operations Manager at a Petroleum Terminal is responsible for overseeing all daily terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and distribution of petroleum products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate terminal operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of petroleum products.
• Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in terminal activities.
• Lead, train, and supervise operational staff to maintain high performance and morale.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and coordinate with logistics teams for timely deliveries.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to optimise efficiency and minimise risk.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and equipment failures, ensuring effective resolution and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in terminal operations or industrial operations.
• A background in the petroleum industry would be an asset.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Proficient in operational systems and inventory management software.
• Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
