Customer Service Rep/Pump Attendant

Job Scope:
The pump attendant is responsible for providing customer service, dispensing fuel, handling payments, and maintaining a safe, clean forecourt environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in petroleum infrastructure, project management skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and environmental requirements.

Job Scope:
The pump attendant is responsible for providing customer service, dispensing fuel, handling payments, and maintaining a safe, clean forecourt environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in petroleum infrastructure, project management skills, and a deep understanding of regulatory and environmental requirements.
Key Functions and Responsibilities
- Fill customers’ vehicle tanks with requested fuel.
- Collect payments from customers and provide receipts and dispense change.
- Provide other services offered by the station, such as:
- Lubricating vehicles
- Changing motor oil
- Adding water
- Installing antifreeze
- Collect and dispose of outside trash.
- Process credit card purchases.
- Answer customer questions and provide directions.
- Replace windshield wiper blades.
- Activate fuel pumps with supervisor permission.
- Complete shift reports for fuel sales and payments.
- Wash windshields and check fluids/tire pressure.
- Report suspicious activity.
- Participate in stock counts.
- Prior experience in a customer service position.
- Experience in a customer-facing environment is a plus.
- Efficient time management skills,
- Excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
