Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
- Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Creating and managing budgets, identify areas to improve in.
- Ensure that employees follow company policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Schedule regular team meetings to discuss about business updates, issues and recommendations.
- Budget preparation and expense management reviews.
- Respond to employee concerns in timely manner
- Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities.

- Attend meetings, trainings, seminars and conferences.
Qualifications
- Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration.
- Previous working experience as a General Manager of the Shipping Industry for 5+ years.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable.
- Highly organized.
- Strong work ethic and proactive nature.
- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
- Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
- Multitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
